A young talented fullback Grant Hermanus impressed at the 2013 Craven Week which lead to him being named in the SA Schools side.
His continued to impress from their as he made his first class debut for the Western Province in 2015.
That same year he was selected in the SA U20 squad for the Junior World Championship.
He was named in the Stormers 2017 Super Rugby squad but failed to make his debut
