A destructive ball-carrier, Giada Franco first picked up a rugby ball at age 14, Franco went on to make her Test debut in 2018 at the age of 23 for Italy in the Six Nations.
Her blistering performances throughout the tournament helped Italy claim their first-ever victory against Wales in Cardiff.
In 2019 she started all of Italy's Six Nations games and ahead of the 2019/20 Tyrrells Premier 15s season she joined Harlequins on loan from Rugby Colorno.
Franco has previously balanced her training and playing schedule with her studies, managing to excel at elite level and is expected to make a significant impact in the Tyrrells Premier 15s.
In July 2020, Harlequins confirmed her return back to Rugby Colorno.
