Giacomo Da Re, born on March 29, 1999, is an Italian rugby union player who primarily plays as a fly-half and fullback. He is currently a member of Benetton Rugby in the United Rugby Championship.
Da Re began his professional career under contract with Mogliano and later with Rovigo Delta. In the 2020-21 Pro14 and 2021-22 United Rugby Championship seasons, he was named as a Permit Player for Benetton Rugby. He made his debut for Benetton in Round 11 of the 2021-22 United Rugby Championship against the Dragons.
In 2019, Da Re was named in the Italy Under 20 squad. He continued to impress and was selected by Alessandro Troncon to be part of the Italy A 28-man squad. He was also named in the Emerging Italy 27-man squad for the 2021 end-of-year rugby union internationals.
On January 13, 2022, Da Re received another call-up and was named in the Italian squad for the 2022 Six Nations Championship. Later that year, he was selected by Kieran Crowley to be part of an Italy 33-man squad for the 2022 mid-year rugby union tests. He made his debut for the national team in a match against Portugal.
Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023, Da Re has been named in the squad for Italy.
