A product of Falcons and Cheetahs rugby where he excelled in the age-group sides, Annandale moved after his last season with the Cheetahs U21s in 2010.
2011 saw the lock playing for CUT in the Varsity Shield and spending two seasons with the Griffons. Gifted with amazing ball skills and lineout work, the second row was snapped up by the Lions in 2013.
He made his debut for Wellington-based side Boland Cavaliers for the 2014 Currie Cup qualification tournament.
