Elrigh Louw, born on 20 September 1999, is a promising South African rugby union player who currently represents the Bulls in the United Rugby Championship and the Blue Bulls in the Currie Cup. Louw's versatility allows him to excel in both the flanker and lock positions, showcasing his adaptability on the field.
Louw's rugby journey began at Hoërskool Transvalia, where he played for their rugby team. His performances earned him a spot in the Falcons squad for the Under-18 Craven Week, a prestigious schoolboy rugby tournament. Following his school years, Louw made the move to Bloemfontein to join the Free State Cheetahs. He represented the Cheetahs at the Under-19 and Under-21 levels, further honing his skills.
The talented forward was also recognized on the national stage when he received a call-up to the South Africa Under-20 squad. He proudly represented his country at the 2019 World Rugby Under 20 Championship held in Argentina, showcasing his abilities on the international stage.
