Winning the Varsity Cup with Maties he was included in the wider Super Rugby Squad for the Stormers but failed to make an appearance in 2019.
Ahead of the Pro 14 season he made the move to Bloemfontein where he will play in the European competition for the Cheetahs
Having being named in the Varsity Cup Dream Team in 2017 and 2018 he previously played for the Ikey Tigers and has scored two hat tricks in the competition.
