A late comer to rugby, Chelsea Bremner
has cemented herself as one of the
country’s leading lineout forwards in
recent seasons.
A breakthrough season in 2019 saw
Bremner win the Fiao’o Faamausili Medal
for Farah Palmer Cup Player of the Year and
she earned her spot in the New Zealand
Development XV tour to Fiji where she
appeared in all three games for the team.
In 2020, Bremner made her debut in
the black jersey, in the domestic series
against the Barbarians. She was ruled out
of international duty in 2021 with injury,
having to wait to make her Test debut
alongside her sister Alana in their Pacific
Four Series opener against Australia in
Tauranga in 2022.
Bremner was a member of the Black Ferns
Rugby World Cup 2021 winning squad.
Away from rugby, Bremner is a qualified
teacher.
