Charlie Powell, a homegrown talent, made the transition from the Bristol Bears Integrated Academy to the first team squad on July 1st, 2020.
During the 2017/18 campaign, Powell's impressive performances caught the attention of the England U18s training squad, showcasing his potential and talent. He made his senior debut for Bristol Bears as a replacement against Doncaster Knights.
Powell's outstanding performances in the U18s League earned him the club's U18s player of the season award, highlighting his contributions and impact during that campaign.
In 2018, Powell achieved a significant milestone by becoming the youngest player to represent the club in a European fixture. He made his appearance off the bench against Zebre, demonstrating his promising future in the sport.
