South African hooker Bradley Roberts made the move to Ireland where he played for Rainey Old Boys in Division 2A of the All Ireland League.
Roberts attended the renowned Michaelhouse in Kwazulu Natal before heading to Stellenbosch University after school. The hooker also represented the Sharks at u19 level.
His performances in the All Ireland League caught the eye of the Ulster coaching staff who brought the South African into the PRO14 squad.
He made his debut for the Province in November 2020 against Edinburgh.
In October 2021, following the withdrawal of hooker Ken Owens from the Welsh squad for the Autumn Nations Series, Roberts was called up by Wales head coach Wayne Pivac as a replacement.
