Bautista Delguy is an Argentine rugby union player who primarily plays as a winger. He was born on 22 April 1997. Delguy currently represents the Argentina national team and plays for ASM Clermont Auvergne in the French Top 14.
Delguy made his professional debut for the Jaguares in Super Rugby in February 2018, playing against the Lions at Ellis Park Stadium. He quickly made an impact, scoring eight tries in the 2018 Super Rugby season.
His performances caught the attention of the national selectors, leading to his inclusion in the experienced Argentina lineup against Wales in June 2018, where he became the only debutant.
Delguy continued to excel for both the Pumas and the Jaguares. He represented Argentina at the Rugby World Cup in Japan and played a pivotal role in the team's historic first-ever victory over the All Blacks in November 2020, starting in the match.
In late 2020, following the abandonment of the Super Rugby competition due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Delguy signed with Bordeaux in the French Top 14.
However, it's worth noting that he currently plays for ASM Clermont Auvergne in the Top 14, indicating a change of clubs since the initial information was provided. Delguy is known for his lightning-fast speed, exceptional work rate, and ability to finish scoring opportunities even in challenging situations.
