Born in Constanta, Apostol is well known as a fast winger who has played for Romania's junior team, the Sevens national side and finally the senior team. Apostol made his debut for the Bucharest Wolves in 2010 in the Challenge Cup, and only one year later he managed to score three tries against Crociati Parma in the same competition. His debut for the Romanian senior team came in 2011 and he played at that World Cup. He will add to his world cup appearances in 2015 having been selected to represent Romania.
