Anthony Alfred Volmink, born on 10 February 1990 in Bredasdorp, South Africa, is a rugby player known for his speed and ability to score tries. Standing at 1.80 meters (5 feet 11 inches) tall and weighing 85 kilograms (187 pounds), he combines agility with pace on the field.

Volmink attended HTS Bredasdorp and later made a name for himself with UWC in the Varsity Shield competition. His impressive performances caught the attention of the Lions, and he signed a deal to join the team.

He made his Super Rugby debut for the Lions on 2 June 2012 in a match against the Sharks, starting the game before being substituted in the 61st minute. During the 2013 Vodacom Cup, he achieved a notable feat by scoring nine tries in a single game, setting a South African record for tries-per-game.

Despite facing some injuries throughout his career, Volmink has remained a threat to opposing defenses with his pace and ability to break through. He continued to represent the Lions in Super Rugby, Currie Cup, and the Supersport Challenge Cup. During the 2016 and 2017 Super Rugby seasons, he faced competition from experienced wingers Ruan Combrinck and Courtnall Skosan.

In November 2017, Volmink signed a deal with the Southern Kings, joining their Pro14 side. After spending more than five years with the Lions, playing in 18 Super Rugby matches and scoring four tries, he embarked on a new chapter in his career.

Currently, Volmink plays for the Sharks in the United Rugby Championship (URC) and the Currie Cup, adding his speed and try-scoring ability to the team's attacking prowess.
