England produced a dominant display to beat Fiji 8-73 at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in the second round of the Nations Championship.

Here are our England player ratings.

1 Ellis Genge – 7.8 | Great in the scrums and made 9/9 tackles.

2 Jamie George – 8.5 | The skipper made a try saving tackle early in the game. Had some great lineout throw ins, did well in the scrums and scored a try.

3 Joe Heyes – 7.8 | Helped England dominate the scrums.

4 Alex Coles – 7.9 | Provided power behind in the scrum and made the most tackles in the game (11)

5 George Martin - 7.8 | Provided power behind in the scrum with his lock partner

6 Ollie Chessum – 8 | Did very well in the lineouts winning 9 of them.

7 Guy Pepper –8.5 | Made some strong carries and scored a try

8 Ben Earl – 8.9 | Showed good physicality against a tough Fiji side and assisted a Pollock try with a brilliant kick through.

9 Jack van Poortvliet – 8.8 | Provided quick service and assisted a try after snipping around the edge.

10 Fin Smith – 9.2 | His orchestrated the England attack and did well from the tee with an 82% kick success rate. A man of the match performance.

11 Immanuel Feyi-Waboso – 9 | He did well under the high balls and put Fiji under pressure. He matched Fiji in physicality, ran great lines making 107 metres and beating 9 defenders. Capped off a great performance with a try.  

12 Seb Atkinson – 8.4 | A solid performance in the midfield capped off with a try.

13 Henry Slade – 8.4 | A solid performance in the midfield capped off with a try.

14 Tommy Freeman – 8 | A good performance out wide, always busy looking for work and boasted a 100% tackle success rate.

15 Marcus Smith – 8.4 | He did well as the last man on defence and attack. Also cored England’s first try and did well as a make-shift scrumhalf.

England take on Argentina next and Fiji will face Scotland next Saturday in the third round of the Nations Championship.
