PWR Preview | Exeter Chiefs v Gloucester Hartpury – Sandy Park
- 1196
Black Fern Amy Rule will make a highly anticipated full debut for Exeter Chiefs at Sandy
Park as the hosts look to make it two wins from two.
Having defeated Trailfinders Women on the road last weekend, Chiefs will face a tough visit
from defending champions Gloucester Hartpury who earned a 40-14 home victory over
Saracens.
But with PWR action returning to Sandy Park for the first time since it hosted seven
scintillating Rugby World Cup clashes, there will be every intention to give the home fans
something to cheer.
Rule will play a key part in those endeavours, having entered as a substitute against
Trailfinders, as she lines up in the front row alongside Cliodhna Moloney-MacDonald and
Hope Rogers.
Chiefs make a further two changes as Gabriella Nigrelli starts at flanker, while Canada
captain Alex Tessier is given the nod at full-back.
After a dominant performance against Saracens, the Circus opt not to make any changes to
their starting XV.
