England team to play Argentina in 2025 Quilter Nations Series

England Rugby men’s head coach Steve Borthwick has named his team to play Argentina at Allianz Stadium on Sunday 23 November (KO 4:10pm, live on TNT Sports).

Maro Itoje will captain England in the final fixture of the 2025 Quilter Nations Series, supported by vice-captains George Ford and Ellis Genge.

Borthwick has made six changes to the starting side that defeated New Zealand 33-19 last Saturday, with Genge, Luke Cowan-Dickie, Asher Opoku-Fordjour, Ben Spencer, Elliot Daly, and Henry Slade all coming into the side.

“Last weekend gave us plenty to build on, and now the challenge is to push our performance further,” said Borthwick. “Argentina play with emotion and physicality, and they’ve shown they can beat the very best in world rugby this year. We know how dangerous they can be, and we are preparing for a fiercely contested Test match.

“We have felt exceptional support at Allianz Stadium throughout this series. It provides a real lift for the players, and we hope to create lasting memories for our supporters on Sunday.”
