The case of Josh Hodge, Exeter Chiefs, was heard by Gareth Rees KC, sitting as an independent Sole Judicial Officer.
Hodge was cited for a dangerous tackle, contrary to World Rugby Law 9.13, during a game against Northampton Saints on Sunday 28th September.
Hodge received a three-match ban, which will be reduced to two if he successfully completes the World Rugby Coaching Intervention Programme (CIP).
