Quins set for Stade Rochelais battle

Harlequins make one change to the starting XV ahead of travelling to La Rochelle on Sunday (18 January, KO 15:15 GMT).

The Quarters travel to Stade Marcel-Deflandre with a home Round of 16 tie firmly in their sights. After securing qualification to the knockout stages with an emphatic victory at The Stoop last weekend, the focus now shifts to locking in second place in Pool C.

Quins’ solitary change comes in the second row, where the experienced Joe Launchbury - set to earn his 50th appearance - slots into the engine room alongside Los Pumas stalwart, Guido Petti Pagadizábal.

Elsewhere in the pack, Simon Kerrod, Jack Walker and Pedro Delgado are the men entrusted to do battle in the front row against the French giants.

The all-action back row of Chandler Cunningham-South, Jack Kenningham and skipper Alex Dombrandt remains unchanged.

After an impressive display in Round 3, Lucas Friday continues at scrum-half, with Marcus Smith orchestrating proceedings in the number 10 jersey.

The centre pairing of Bryn Bradley and Luke Northmore will once again line up on the west coast of France, while Cadan Murley, Nick David and Tyrone Green complete the starting XV.

Jason Gilmore has prepared his squad for a physical battle, reflected in his selection of replacements, as the Senior Coach opts for a 6–2 split on the bench.

Will Hobson, Sam Riley and Harry Williams provide front-row cover, with Kieran Treadwell, Zach Carr and Tom Lawday offering depth across the back five.

Lawday is set to earn his 100th appearance for the Club when introduced at Stade Marcel-Deflandre.

Max Green and Jarrod Evans retain their places in the wider squad for Sunday’s pool-stage finale.
