England Player Ratings

England have beaten the All Blacks and beaten them well as they continue to march on showing great form.

  1. Fin Baxter - 7
  2. Jamie George - 6
  3. Joe Heyes - 7

Solid at scrum time and around the park. 100% at scrum set piece but a poor day at the line outs for George

  4. Maro Itoje - 8
  5. Alex Coles - 7

High tackle rate as expected and a good showing against a good lock pairing from the All Blacks

  6. Guy Pepper - 7
  7. Sam Underhill - 7
  8. Ben Earl - 8

Superb loose trio with the only 'new face' in Guy Pepper showing he is not out of place in the test arena

  9. Alex Mitchell - 7
  10. George Ford - 9

The control and impact the halfback pairing made can not be understated with Ford bagging points with key drop goals, positional play and defence and Mitchell's great clearing kick and clean distribution. George Ford was crowned Man of the Match follwoing this win over the All Blacks

  11. Immanuel Feyi-Waboso - 6
  12. Fraser Dingwall - 7
  13. Ollie Lawrence - 9
  14. Tom Roebuck - 7
  15. Freddie Steward - 7

While Steward did not play for long he was on track to make a bigger impact than he already did. The wingers were busy but effective however the midfield were the stand out players in this group. Fraser Dingwall had some question marks over his ability at test level and he answered with one of his best games and that was in tandem with Ollie Lawrence who many would have picked for Man of the Match

  16. Luke Cowan-Dickie - 6
  17. Ellis Genge - 7
  18. Will Stuart - 7
  19. Chandler Cunningham-South - N/A
  20. Tom Curry - 7
  21. Henry Pollock - 7
  22. Ben Spencer - 7
  23. Marcus Smith - 7

The Pom Squad were not the centre of the win but definitely added impetus to a front foot attacking England side who had the upper hand. The pack won a number of scrum penalties and Marcus Smith came on early for Steward and, as usual, did not dissapoint
