URC Stats | Three most efficient attackers after Round 1

The home teams dominated the opening round of the URC with just Munster securing an away win after the opening eight fixtures to start the season. We crunched the numbers and have put together the three best attacking game breakers. We looked through all the players that had 10 or more touches of the ball and impacted the game in a positive way for their team whether it were through tries, line breaks, try assists, retained kicks or line break assists. 

Adam Hastings - Glasgow Warriors:

While Hastings only played 16 minutes, he made the most of his 11 touches creating magic with just under 46% of his involvements. Two kicks retained, two line break assists and a try assist see him go top of the table.

Seabelo Senatla - Stormers:

Senatla made a whopping five clean breaks against Leinster and added a try assist from his 15 touches. His MOTM performance rounds off an amazing comeback from injury for the 7's speedster who thought his career was over until John Dobson offered him a contract for this seaosn.

Zac Ward - Ulster:

While both Ward and Senatla created an opportunity off 40%  off their 15 touches, the Stormer slips into second place having beat nine defenders and a better defensive percentage of battle losses on attack. Ward not only scored a try, provided a try assist and gave a line break assist he had three clean breaks against the Dragons.
