Cardiff stun Leinster in the rain

The rain and conditions kept the score low but Cardiff fought their way to a famous win over Leinster.
The hosts are a point behind Leinster on the log now and held a small 3-0 lead at half time in a half for Leinster that prompted a number of early subs just before the break by the visitors. The two highlights from the game were the tries scored by each side with Aled Davies scoring after 53 minutes and brought a close to a well worked and expansive attack from the hosts that gave them an 8-0 lead.

Luke McGrath got Leinster back in the game after two great inside passes opened up 14 man Cardiff's defence and with the 9 scoring under the posts the game was well poised for a great finished with the score at 8-7 but the hosts held on for the final 12 minutes for a great win.
