Canterbury side to defend Ranfurly Shield vs Otago

Canterbury are set for another blockbuster Ranfurly Shield defence this weekend, hosting Otago in a top-of-the-table clash at Apollo Projects Stadium.

Fresh off a thrilling victory over Tasman in front of a massive home crowd, the Red & Black welcome the return of George Bell to the starting XV after his time with the All Blacks.The day will be a true rugby showcase, kicking off with Canterbury’s FPC side taking on Bay of Plenty at 2:05pm before the Shield clash gets underway.
