Federico Zani, born on April 9, 1989, is an Italian rugby union player who primarily plays as a prop. He has been playing for Benetton in the United Rugby Championship since 2016.

Zani initially signed a contract with Mogliano but was named as an additional player for Benetton Treviso in the 2015-16 Pro12 season. He made his presence known in the club and became a regular member of the team, representing Benetton in the Pro12, which later became the United Rugby Championship.

In 2015 and 2016, Zani was named in the Emerging Italy squad, showcasing his potential at the international level. From 2017 onwards, he was also named in the Italy squad, earning recognition for his performances. On August 18, 2019, Zani was named in the final 31-man squad for the 2019 Rugby World Cup, representing Italy on the global stage.

On November 8, 2021, he was named in the Italy A squad for the 2021 end-of-year rugby union internationals, highlighting his continued involvement in international rugby. In March 2022, it was announced that Zani's contract with Benetton was extended until the end of 2024, indicating the club's confidence in his abilities.
