Sean played rugby wirh Cashel RFC and attended Rockwell College, where he played three years of Junior and Senior Cup rugby, and winning the cup as a captain in 2015.
He currently represents Garryowen in the All-Ireland League.
O'Connor represented Ireland U20 at the 2016 World Rugby Under 20 Championship.
Sean made his first start for Munster in 2017, and will join the senior squad on a one-year development contract for the 2019/20 season.
