Ryan is a tight-head prop who joined Newcastle ahead of the 2015/16 season from Libourne, France. after coming through the ranks at Munster Academy Ryan had moved to France followed by London Welsh. Ryan is eligible to represent USA or Ireland, even though he played for the Irish under 20's.
