A passionate supporter of Paris Saint Germain, Paul began his rugby career in the French capital aged 12 with Paris University Club.

He played his first TOP14 match in August 2014 for Stade Francais against Castres, winning the French premier league in his maiden campaign in 2015.

In 2016, he signed his first professional contract with the Paris-based club after establishing himself as a match day regular starting 22 times in the TOP14 during his second season.

Gabrillagues tasted success once again with Stade Francais as they won the European Challenge Cup in 2017.

At the start of the 2017-18 season, Gabrillagues extended his initial contract by a further year until 2020.

In November 2017, Paul received a call up to the French national team for the 2017 November Tests, making his debut against New Zealand at the Stade de France in the second row.

His performances at the tournament secured his spot in France's squad for the 2018 Six Nations, where he will look to add to his 2 international caps.
