Fly-half Tommy Mathews was first picked up by London Irish before moving to Hartpury College and catching the attention of Gloucester.
Rising through the Academy ranks with the Cherry & Whites, Mathews represented Gloucester in both the 2018 and 2019 Premiership Rugby Under-18s Academy League finals, locking horns with Leicester Tigers in consecutive seasons.
The talented goal-kicker also pulled on a Wales Under-18s jersey for first time in 2019, representing his country during the Six Nations championship and then touring South Africa with the side in the summer.
Matthews has been included in the England u20 squad for the 2021 Six Nations.
