Alexandru Gordas began his professional career at CSM București in 2013.
In 2014, he signed for Worcester Warriors and spent one season before returning CSM București.
He also plays for Romania's national team, the Oaks, making his international debut at the 2015 World Rugby Nations Cup in a match against the Argentina Jaguares
Gordas then went on to play 2 seasons for Steaua București (2016-2018)
In 2018, he returned back to CSM București where he is currently playing
Ahead of the 2023 Rugby World Cup, Gordas has been named in the Romania squad.
