WRU Waive Rights To Ireland's 2023 Revenue

The WRU board have voted not to enforce the historical agreement with the IRFU over their support for hosting of the 1999 Rugby World Cup. A reciprocal arrangement was in place between the IRFU and the WRU prior to the '99 RWC which was primarily hosted at Millennium Stadium, but with games shared out to other European nations (England, France, Scotland and Ireland) whereby Wales would receive a 20% share of net income from future tournaments should they be hosted in Ireland.
