'Worst is over' says SBW on his injuries
Sonny Bill Williams hopes that the worst is over when it comes to the injury problems he has faced so far this year.

The 30-year-old had a tough season with the Chiefs in Super Rugby but has made Steve Hansen’s 31-man squad for this year’s Rugby World Cup.

Williams will battle it out with Ma’a Nonu for the inside centre spot in the New Zealand side.

"I feel like I've played pretty good considering the few injuries I've seemed to pick up," Williams told AAP.

"That's been disappointing but now I'm not just physically but mentally feeling the best I've felt all year so I'm really ready to get out there and take my shot if I get it.

"I'm confident that if I get that 12 jersey, I'll be able to handle it, just like every other player in the squad.”
