Worcester Warriors sign Jono Kitto on a short-term deal
- 1997
Worcester Warriors have announced the signing of scrum-half Jono Kitto on a short-term loan deal from Leicester Tigers, who joins the Club with immediate effect.
With number nines Luke Baldwin (bicep) and Jonny Arr (concussion) out injured, Director of Rugby Gary Gold has acted to bring in the 25-year-old Kiwi as cover.
Kitto, a former New Zealand Under 20 international, has made 29 appearances for Tigers, having played for Bay of Plenty in New Zealand, while also having been called up to the Waikato Chiefs Development squad in 2015.
The pacey scrum-half recently featured for Leicester in the Premiership Rugby A League against Worcester Cavaliers, scoring a scintillating solo try at Sixways.
