Will Carling makes swift apology over Chris Robshaw injury claims

Harlequins were forced to move quickly yesterday to quash claims that Chris
Robshaw, the England captain, was a World Cup doubt with a serious shoulder
injury.



Fears over the flanker’s fitness rose suddenly when Will Carling, the former
Harlequins and England captain, spread the word on social media that Robshaw
was struggling badly with the problem and was about to fly to Europe to see
a specialist.



Carling tweeted: “Am hearing news that @ChrisRobshaw shoulder is a major
issue? Trip to Europe to see a specialist.

RWC in doubt.
