Which France team will turn up?

After finishing with the wooden spoon in 2013 a lot was expected of France in last years Six Nations championship. However after defeats to Wales and Ireland they finished in fourth spot with the search continuing for a first Six Nations Championship since 2010.
With France, they continue to be one of the most inconsistent International sides in Rugby Union. In the Autumn Series they were able to get the better of Fiji and Australia before putting in a disappointing performance against Argentina with the Puma’s securing the win in Paris.
With French clubs continuing to dominate European Rugby, there are no excuses for lack of talent in their squad. If they’re able to perform to their best they would not just be serious contenders for the Six Nations but also for the World Cup in September.
The one positive is that after years of tinkering with his side Philippe Saint-Andre looks to have found his first choice XV. One of his most important additions to the squad is outhalf Camille Lopez. After experimenting with the likes of Plisson, Trinh-Duc and Michalak, Saint-Andre has finally found a outhalf he can rely on to win him games with Lopez showing that in the Autumn series. The rest of the backline is also extremely talented with the likes of Huget, Thomas and Bastareaud proving to be difficult customers for any side.
