Welsh's Hala'ufia gets five-week ban

London Welsh's Chris Hala'ufia has been suspended for five weeks after pleading guilty to striking an opponent.

The back-rower, 36, was sent off after first illegally tackling Leicester's Laurence Pearce and then shoving his head into the turf on 25 April.

The Tongan, no stranger to disciplinary proceedings, was given two consecutive yellow cards, equalling a red card.

The suspension means Hala'ufia will miss the final two games of the season and the start of the 2015-16 campaign.
