Damian de Allende issued a warning for red card

De Allende was issued a red card for a breach of Law10.4(o) "Late charging the kicker" in their Rugby Championship match at Newlands.

However the Foul Play Review Committee found that the offence did not warrant a red card in all the circumstances and has issued a warning.

Mario Ledesma quits Wallabies to take up top job at Jaguares


 

 Mario Ledesma has decided to step down as Wallabies scrum coach after the final Bledisloe Cup match in two weeks time to be in charge of the Jaguares in Super Rugby in 2018.


Ledesma told Wallabies players and staff after Australia's 37-20 win over Argentina in Mendoza in what Cheika said was an extremely tough decision for the 44-year-old. 

 "I was pretty devastated when he told me but I understood what the story was," Cheika said. "I want him to succeed.

Nehe Milner-Skudder ruled out for 6 months with a shoulder injury

All Blacks winger Nehe Milner-Skudder has been ruled out for the next six months after injuring his shoulder.

The 26-year-old was forced from the field in the All Blacks win over South Africa at Newlands on Sunday after dislocating his right shoulder. 

All Blacks coach Steve Hansen said Milner-Skudder would need surgery, ruling him out for at least six months. 

Elliot Dixon sidelined for three to four months

Dixon will undergo surgery on Tuesday to repair a torn bicep and is expected to be sidelined for three or four months.

The expected three to four month recovery time should mean he will be back in time for the Highlanders' pre-season fixtures in the lead up to the 2018 Super Rugby season.

 The All Blacks went 6/6 in the Rugby Championship as the beat South Africa 25-24 in a thrilling encounter at Newlands. 

Leinster vs Munster

Leinster came away with a one try victory in what was an absolute cracker of a game. Munster didn't give up for the entire 80 minutes and continually threatened to snatch it from their visitors, but it was the home side that prevailed in the end.

Former Springbok JP Pietersen was on the wrong end of this tackle when Toulon faced off against Bordeaux on Saturday night. 

Toulon went on to lose the game 30-27.
