Welsh Falcons' bound: Glasgow and Scotland International Jon Welsh announced that for the 2015/16 season he would be moving to Newcastle Falcons. The 28 year old has made over 100 starts for the Warriors and made his debut for Scotland in 2012. Welsh plays at loose head and signs on a two year deal for the Falcons. Speaking about the move Welsh said, "I think Newcastle are a club with a big future and are going places. Personally it's the the challenge of being able to come down and compete in the Premiership."
Taylor to Scarlets: Early this morning Scarlets announced that they had captured the signing of Welsh born Will Taylor from Wasps. The tight head prop will join up with the Pro12 side for the 2015/16 season and will bring cover for the injured Samson Lee. Taylor brings with him good Premiership experience and has featured regularly over the last two seasons for the Coventry based side, he has also represented Wales at Under 18s and Under 20s level. The front-row said, "I'm delighted to be returning to Wales with the Scarlets. I have a strong ambition to represent my country at senior level but my short term goal is to establish myself in the Scarlets squad and help make us as competitive as possible in all competitions."
