Australia lock Kane Douglas will make his first start since last year's World Cup final after being named to the Reds side for their Super Rugby match against the Chiefs on Friday.

Daley switches to force

Western Force have announced they have added the experienced Ben Daley for the 2017 season, with the loosehead prop joining from the Reds.

The Sydney-born prop, who previously represented the Australian U19s side at the World Championships will join the Force after 79 Super Rugby games across nine seasons for the Reds.

Match Officials appointed for 2016 Rugby Championship

South Africa’s Jaco Peyper will blow the first whistle on this year’s Rugby Championship as he takes charge of the Australia v New Zealand game in Sydney on 20 August.

 Angus Gardner of Australia and Mathieu Raynal of France will take charge of their first Rugby Championship matches.
