Watch: Sam Davies nails a difficult drop goal as the Dragons beat the Scarlets

Inter-provincial derbies can bring the best out of teams as they look to get one over their rivals and the Welsh derby on Saturday was no different as the Dragons edged the Scarlets thanks to a late drop goal from Sam Davies.
The Scarlets hit the front thanks to Leigh Halfpenny in the third minute but Davies gave the Dragons the edge with three penalties to make it a 9-3 game after 20 minutes.
Matthew Screech was sin-binned moments later before Gareth Davies scored a nice try off the back of the scrum. His opposite number dotted down as the sides were separated by one point at the break in favour of the Scarlets.
Testing conditions meant that there were no points scored until the 33rd minute of the second half as Davies put his side ahead before Leigh Halfpenny levelled things with 4 minutes to go.
Davies had the chance to win it with a penalty but missed for the first time on the day before he redeemed himself to slot the winning drop goal and give the Dragons the win.
WHAT A FINISH!!!
