Ireland went down to 14-men in their crunch clash with the Junior Wallabies in their second match of the World Rugby U20 Championship.
Second-rower Ryan Baird was guilty of tackling Australian flyhalf Will Harrison around the neck and after a long stop in play referee Christophe Ridley showed the Baird the red card.
