Vince Aso has had his troubles with injuries of late making just four appearances for the Hurricanes during this Super Rugby season while chances of an All Black call up last year was also ended through injury.
At the time, Steve Hansen looked to include the utility back in his squad before his return during the Mitre 10 Cup season.
However, a fit and firing Vince Aso finished off this outstanding 100 metre try against Hawke's Bay in the Mitre 10 Cup on Friday showing of his sheering pace.

Speaking ahead of the final Bledisloe Cup test this weekend, Steve Hansen admitted that his fellow selectors continued to take a keen interest in the provincial championship and they would certainly be impressed with Aso's performance.
Aso could provide the All Blacks with some handy utility with his ability to play in both midfield positions and on either wing.
In the build-up to that try former Leicester Tigers flanker Brendon O'Connor came narrowly close to scoring before the ball dislodged from his hand, giving the scrum to Wellington that they ultimately scored from.
The clash ended 27 all.
