Owen Lane had one of those nights for Cardiff Blues against Connacht on Saturday.
The winger finished off a try in audacious fashion before almost gifting Connacht a try and the chance to steal the tightly fought contest.
A testing game that only saw the first points of the game come in the 12th minute through Steve Shingler's boot suddenly became more intense when Cardiff went down two 13 men with both Brad Thyer (collapsing the maul) and Nick Williams (late tackle) going to the sin bin.
Despite being down to 13-men Cardiff managed to score the first try of the game in the through Owen Lane.

The next scoring action came in the 75th minute when Paul Boyle went over the line following a scrum that was gifted to Connacht by Lane who dived over his own try line.
In the end, Cardiff managed to hold onto their lead to claim their third consecutive win at home.
