WATCH: Izaia Perese red-carded on his Waratahs' debut

A busy opening half of the first game of the Super Rugby AU season saw the Redds lead the Waratahs 27-7 at the break.
It was the visitors who started brightest through a Jake Gordon try but Jock Campbell, Alex Mafi and Filipo Daugunu all scored to see Queensland to a comfortable lead.
The first half got worse for the Tahs before it was over as Izaia Perese, on debut, was red carded for this tip tackle on Hunter Paisami.
He was given his marching orders, however, the new laws in Super Rugby AU mean the Waratahs will be able to replace him after 20 minutes.
Red card for the Waratahs' Izaia Perese.
New trial law means that the Waratahs can send on a replacement player for Perese 20 minutes after the red card.
Will be really interesting. #REDvWAR pic.twitter.com/zhuw7O0dZD
