Watch: Connacht bound Sevu Reece scores a hattrick against Wellington
- 1600
Connacht seem to have made a clever piece of business by signing Waikato outside back Sevu Reece.
The 21-year-old was in fine form today for Jono Gibbes' Waikato who secured a 43-31 win over his brother, Chris Gibbes, side Wellington.
Reece ran in three tries for Waikato showing off his brilliant turn of pace.
The win sees Waikato, who are in the Championship division of the Mitre 10 Cup, claimed their first win of the season over Wellington - who are a Premiership side.
Reece took his try tally to four for the season after scoring just two minutes into the season against Manawatu.
He ran a fantastic line from the back of the scrum and handed off former England back rower Thomas Waldrom on his way over the line to score.
He did well to finish his second in the corner before showing a clean pair of heels for his third.
