Wallabies dominate Top Performers in nail biter

Australia and South Africa slogged it out in Brisbane as 2 under pressure coaches hunt for a win. The players played themselves to a standstill with the home side holding on well to win by 5 points. Here are the Top Performers.

Will Genia - Australia

A masterclass from the superb Genia and he lead his team around well and was an integral part of the win. Not only did he add with a clean break and beating 4 defenders he martialled the defence and cover play with excellance 

Matt Toomua - Australia

15 points on the day and a spotless record on defence Toomua took the prominant fly half role in a 10/12 combo that looked as though would be switching a lot. He combined really well with Beale and his outside backs and was near perfect off the tee.

Michael Hooper - Australia

Hooper lead from the front with a superb performance in a game he needed to cover extra with the loss of David Pocock. He scored the opening try after 2 minutes and was his usual industrious self as he continued to be a thron in the Springbok side until the final whistle

Franco Mostert - South Africa

The man is a tackle machine and topped the list for the umteenth time as he made 16 tackles on the day. Ever present at line out time and heavily contributing in the tight and loose play he strolls into the Top Performer list for a Springbok team that struggled
