Bath Rugby has confirmed that Jack Walker has extended his stay with the Club.
A physically abrasive, skilful player, the 21-year-old has made 12 appearances for the Club to date since he joined in 2016. Whilst game time has been limited through injury, the hooker – who has represented England at U20 level, and was the youngest player to captain former club Yorkshire Carnegie – has impressed the coaches hugely.
“Jack has a great attitude, and is a really good player to have in the squad,” said Todd Blackadder, Bath’s Director of Rugby. “It’s been a frustrating time for him with the injuries, but he’s still made sure that he’s doing everything he can off the field to help the team prepare each week.
“He’s a very talented young man, and we’re all excited to see him back on the pitch when the time is right so that he can continue developing as a player and a leader for us.”
