Vunisa signs for Sarries

It has been announced today that Samuela Vunisa will be joining Saracens at the start of the 2015/16 season. The Fijian-born Italian International leaves Zebre after two seasons at the club to start a new chapter in his career at Allianz Park.

Vunisa leaves Italy after four years after playing with with Calvisiano and Zebre and is excited about the prospect of playing for such a quality side like Saracens.

"Last season they got to two finals and played some fantastic rugby. I’m really looking forward to linking up with such a strong squad and hopefully, improving as a player in a new environment."It’s going to be a big experience, and it’s a great challenge and I can’t wait to start a fresh chapter in the UK for such a big club. It’s a massive honour and a great opportunity for me and my family." Vunisa said.

Vunisa can play anywhere in the back row and will be a great addition to Mark McCall's squad.
