The Dragons claimed their second win of the URC season with an entertaining 32-25 home victory over the Ospreys in round 6. The Ospreys got off to a dream start with a try inside the opening minute to lead 7-0. The sides then traded penalties before a Dragons try after 22 minutes saw them close the gap to 10-8.
The Ospreys responded with a try five minutes later, but then picked up two yellow cards late in the first half, with the Dragons also being awarded a penalty try to head into the break deadlocked at 15 apiece. The Dragons made full use of their numerical advantage, with two scores in the opening eight minutes of the second half putting them up 27-15.
The Ospreys pulled three points back with a penalty to head into the final quarter trailing by nine points. The Dragons picked up two yellow cards after 73 minutes to finish the match with 13 players. However, it was the Dragons who would score an intercept try with five minutes remaining to make it 32-18. The Ospreys crossed for a late score, but the Dragons would hold on for a seven point victory.
