We've rounded up some of the best stats from Round 17 of the BKT United Rugby Championship.

Zebre Parma v Scarlets

-       Gonzalo Garcia made the joint-most offloads at the weekend (four). He also made a clean break.

-       Giacomo Ferrari made more tackles than any other player in Round 17 (26). He also made eight carries and a clean break.

-       The Scarlets had the slowest average ruck speed at the weekend (6.0 seconds). Their average ruck speed was 7.1 seconds in the Zebre 22.

-       Zebre Parma’s maul conceded five metres at the weekend. This was the joint-fewest maul metres made in a match this season.

-       The Scarlets made three lineout steals against Zebre Parma – more than any other team in Round 17.

Edinburgh v Munster

-       Ben Healy scored the joint-most points in Round 17, a total of 16. He was 100% off the tee for the ninth time this season (He has made 17 appearances).

-       Edinburgh made fewer carry metres than any other team at the weekend (191). This is the first time that they’ve made fewer than 200 carry metres this season.

-       Munster made more post-contact metres than any other team at the weekend (163). Jack Crowley made the most among the Munstermen (28).

-       Edinburgh made just one clean break at the weekend, the joint-fewest in Round 17.

-       Munster made the second-most carries at the weekend (148) but maintained the second-highest rate of gainline success (50%).

Vodacom Bulls v Benetton

-       Canan Moodie was the only player to score a hat-trick in Round 17. He has scored six tries in his last three appearances.

-       David Kriel made more metres than any other player at the weekend (105), the most clean breaks (four), scored two tries, and assisted another.

-       The Bulls scored more tries than any other team in Round 17 (nine). They have scored a total of 22 tries in their last three matches.

-       Benetton were the only team in Round 17 not to make a single dominant tackle. This is the first time this season they’ve failed to make a dominant tackle in a match.

-       Benetton won the fewest turnovers at the weekend (three). They have only won fewer than four in two matches this season.

Ospreys v Dragons

-       Morgan Morris made as many carries as any other player at the weekend (16), beat four defenders, made two clean breaks, and assisted a try.

-       The Dragons made more offloads than any other team in Round 17, a total of 14. This is the joint-most they’ve made in a match this season.

-       The Dragons won just 40% of their scrums at the weekend – the lowest success rate in Round 17. In contrast, the Ospreys won the joint-most scrum penalties (five).

-       The Ospreys made more entries to the opposition 22 than any other team at the weekend, a total of 15.

-       The Dragons conceded a round-high 20 penalties at the weekend. This was the highest penalty count of the season so far.

Emirates Lions v Glasgow Warriors

-       Sanele Nohamba scored the joint-most points at the weekend (17), including five from his try. He also won two turnovers.

-       Eric Cronje was the only player to assist two tries in Round 17. He also made three clean breaks.

-       Kyle Steyn beat more defenders than any other player in Round 17, a total of nine. He also won two turnovers.

-       The Lions had the best gainline success rate in Round 17 (58.5%). They made a league-high average of 15 metres per possession.

-       The Glasgow Warriors made more dominant carries (40) and beat more defenders (31) than any other team at the weekend.

Connacht v DHL Stormers

-       Evan Roos made more dominant carries (eight) and post-contact metres (36) than any other player at the weekend.

-       For the second consecutive round, Connacht’s gainline success rate was the lowest of any team (25.3%).

-       The Stormers won five scrum penalties at the weekend – as many as any other team. They have won five scrum penalties in each of their last three matches, winning them all.

-       Connacht made fewer entries to the opposition 22 than any other team in Round 17 (six).

-       The Stormers made 303 more kick in play metres at the weekend than Connacht, who made the fewest (418).

Hollywoodbets Sharks v Cardiff Rugby

-       James Botham was the only player to win three turnovers in Round 17. He also scored a try.

-       Cardiff made fewer carries than any other team at the weekend (69) – their lowest total this season. However, they scored five tries having only scored more than four in one other match in their campaign.

-       The Sharks made just one clean break at the weekend. They also beat the fewest defenders (11).

-       Cardiff averaged a round-high 4.9 metres per carry in Round 17.

-       The Sharks’ tackle success rate was just 71% at the weekend – lower than that of any other team.

Ulster v Leinster

-       Stuart McCloskey made the joint-most offloads at the weekend (four), taking his total in his last three matches to nine. He also made 12 carries and 14 tackles.

-       John Cooney made more kicks in play (17) and kick in play metres (452) than any other player in Round 17.

-       Ulster kicked more than any other team at the weekend (50% of their possessions) and a round-high 34.8% of their kicks were contestable.

-       Leinster made the joint-second most dominant collisions in Round 17, a total of 30.

Leinster made the second-most tackles at the weekend (194), 77 more than their average in matches they’ve won this season
