Steven Luatua ruled out for 10 weeks
All Black back-row forward has been ruled out for the rest of the Championship season with a knee injury, confirms Bristol Rugby.
The 26-year-old will be out of action for up to ten weeks after sustaining the injury early in last weekend’s defeat to Jersey at Ashton Gate. Full story
Jacques du Toi & Malcolm Jaer re-sign for Cheetahs
Hooker Jacques du Toit has extended his contract until 2019 and has represented the Toyota Cheetahs in 14 PRO14 matches and 8 Super Rugby matches so far.
Fullback Malcolm Jaer, has signed for another two years and will be with the Cheetahs until 2020.
Connacht Rugby announce Eoghan Masterson contract extension
Connacht Rugby have announced that back-row Eoghan Masterson has signed a two-year extension to his contract to take him up to the end of the 2019-20 season.
The 24 year old has made almost 60 appearances for the province including 22 this season.
Tom Dunn re-signs for Bath until 2022
Bath Rugby have announced that Tom Dunn has agreed a contract extension, keeping the hooker at the Club until 2022.
Dunn has made nearly 80 appearances at Bath since making his debut in 2012 and has established himself as a first team regular in the front row.
John Hardie to leave Edinburgh at end of season
Head coach Richard Cockerill has confirmed that Scotland flanker John Hardie will leave Edinburgh at the end of the season.
Cockerill stated that financial considerations and the need to balance the squad on a tight budget had been the driving factor in the decision not to renew the 29-year-old’s contract. Full story
