Luke McAlister signs for Clermont as a medical joker
Following an injury to Camille Lopez, Clermont have brought in Luke McAlister to provide cover.
Lopez suffered an open fracture of his tibia on his left leg 20 minutes into Clermont's Champions Cup match against Northampton Saints back in October.
Rob Miller signs new deal at Wasps
Wasps have announced that Rob Miller is the latest player to put pen to paper on a new deal.
Miller was the Premiership's top try scorer in the 2011-12 season with Sale Sharks and previously impressed for Newcastle Falcons and Tynedale RFC.
Lyon strengthen their 2018/19 squad with 4 new signings
Lyon Rugby have announced the signing of Raphaël Chaume (4 years), Patrick Sobela (2 years), Jean-Marc Doussain (3 years) and Noa Nakaitaci (5 years) for the upcoming 2018 season/2019.
Lyon have also extended the contracts of its three assistant coaches: Sébastien BRUNO (forwards, +3 years old), Karim GHEZAL (touch, +3 years old) and Kendrick LYNN (back lines, +3 years old). They are now linked to the club until June 2021.
Hickey to join Edinburgh next season
Edinburgh have secured the signing of former Blues playmaker Simon Hickey from Bordeaux Bègles on a two-year deal.
The 23-year-old will join the club at the end of the season.

Johnny Williams’ journey with London Irish continues, the explosive centre has pledged his future to the Exiles by inking fresh terms with his boyhood club.
The club has also confirmed that in-form flanker Max Northcote-Green has also put pen to paper on a new deal.
Glasgow Warriors have signed winger Max McFarland on a partnership contract with Scotland 7s until the end of the season
A product of the Leinster Academy, Irish-born McFarland qualifies for Scotland through his grandfather from Glasgow and represented Scotland 7s previously at the 2014 Grand Prix Series in Manchester.
