Hooper played his usual highly rated performance. He was dominant at the break down, turned over a few balls. He also put in some great tackles.   

Matera played his heart out today, made a brilliant chase from the restart to charge the kicker down. He showed his dominance at the breakdown, stealing the balls and remaining strong on the counter rucks.

Paisami, a star performer with his quality of play. Made numerous runs which proved vital for Australia's attack. He made 8 tackles with 9 top class runs. Petaia was a dangerous player to tackle, stepped and beat numerous defenders. He had a brilliant try disallowed with his foot over the dead ball line. Wright was magnificent in the first half, bouncing off players, breaking the defensive lines and making valuable offloads. He steam rolled the Argentine defensive.

Hodge  put in a magnificent performance at fly half, he made numerous breaks and carrying the ball 10 times with a total of 74 metres. He scored an insane looking penalty, however missing a vital penalty at the end to seal the victory. Kremer another stand out performer since the Tri-nations being the top tackler of the game with 12.  He also contributed to the argentine attack.

Hunter Petaia got a brilliant grubber through and raced to dot the ball down but his foot was over the dead ball line, it would've been a brilliant try.

Reece hodge kicked a penalty kick that certainly looked like it was drifting away from the posts but managed to go over.

Hannigan was tackled in the 38th minute, but certainly look like a smashing hit but got up like it was a normal tackle.

Santiago Socino jumped to prevent Hodge from kicking the ball and followed through with a backhand to the throat.

Hooper was repeatedly cleaned out around the neck area, but it was visible in the 54th minute.
